Health Ministry

According to the Bible, spiritual “health” can contribute positively to physical health. Conversely, spiritual turmoil can have a negative effect on one’s physical well-being. Would you like to learn more about the relationship between spiritual and physical health? Would you benefit from regular reminders and updates on topics about physical health?


  • To emphasize the church’s role in health, wellness and wholeness
  • To explore the relationship between faith and health in the Bible
  • To serve as a resource to the congregation for health related issues and questions
  • To support and promote wellness in the King of Kings congregation


  • Adult Bible study topics that explore faith and health
  • Educational offerings on various topics, such as: nutrition, exercise, stress management, selected diseases and health topics
  • Sponsoring a Health Fair highlighting resources available within King of Kings and in the community
  • Occasional health screening and disease prevention events

Our History


  • December: The King of Kings Health Ministry founded


  • January: Established relationship with Faith Community Nursing (Trinity Health)
  • February: Go Red for Women Campaign to raise awareness about heart disease
  • March: AED installed and first CPR classes offered
